MUSLIM AND ISLAM - BEGINNINGS

In 622 AD, Muhammad and his band of followers who did not have much of any political power moved to a city called Yathrib [now renamed Medina, which in Arabic means the city of the prophet]. Yathrib had a thriving Jewish population who were quite well off. Muhammad moved from his tribe's city of Mecca because he was not accepted in his role as a prophet or leader. In Medina, he gained power by multiple methods, some of which changed over time.
Islamic history is thus dated from the time of the immigration to Medina as it marks the turning point in Islamic history from being in an oppressed minority situation to becoming the majority in terms of religious, political, and military power. This pattern has repeated itself throughout history.
At present four hijrah, (migration for Allah)[1], tactics are being used to gain control of certain areas, birth rates, immigration, and political systems and expulsion of non-Muslims from certain areas by numerical and sometimes dominance by force—[think of the effect of documented rape-gangs), in areas of Great Britain.
As we all know there have been murders in the United States by those who follow ISIS and wish to abolish our Constitution and replace it with Shariah Law, (regulates public behavior, private behavior and even private beliefs)[2]. Are we going to allow this? Or are we the people going to be headed in that direction?
Our representatives must be held accountable, (Republican or Democrat), in following the Constitution that our ancestors fought for, as well as to do the will of the people!

Another Terrorist Attack

On Monday 22, 2017, in Manchester England, Salman Ramadan Abedi, 22 years of age, attacked a concert, killing 22 people and wounding 59 concert goers and who also died in the attack. According to the BBC the terrorist is possibly of Libyan descent.
Does this make people suspicious of the young who have such ancestors? Sadly, it does. There is an old saying, “Once bitten, twice shy”. In other words, if somebody does you wrong then we tend to be concerned about such whatever race they are.Do not accuse me of being a bigot and discriminatory. I will never apologize for being cautious of anybody, no matter their race or ancestor, or religion, whenever they commit such horrendous acts as that which was done on May 22, 2017. Apparently, the terrorist ancestors may have been born in the Middle East.
Because of this civilized people tend to fear those from the Middle East. Many young pay attention to ISIS and Al-Quida, and we seldom, if ever trust them. These terrorists’ groups wish to take over the world, especially murdering the Christians and Jewish people.
Do not call Americans bigots for we are not. Our aim is to protect our nation and the world by whatever means, possible. If you who are of a race that has criminals and terrorists among them, then you need to stand up with Americans and Europeans to combat the horrendous actions that are taking place across the world to make a point. When you cover up or are aware of their aims, then you have become just as guilty.

A SENIOR’S OPINION

This senior is 77 years young and a woman who was raised to have class, respect, manners, and compassion. Today, on May 7, 2017, it seems as if this is old hat and no longer viable for people of today.

We were taught that our President was to be respected, even if we did not agree with him, and obey the laws of the land. Not so today. One of the most disgraceful offenses is with the First Amendment of our Constitution, Freedom of Speech. This was enacted so the citizens could have their say whenever they disagreed with the government. But have we not gone too far with this honorable choice? As stated in the headline, this senior’s opinion is that those under fifty years of age, especially the very young, have become vulgar, disrespectful by using violence, and nothing is off limits when it comes to free speech.Free Speech is a wonderful thing. But when we desire to rally/demonstrate using vulgar signs, that we are right and everyone else is wrong, then maybe it is time for all citizens to refocus on morality and how to peacefully change the laws that we may find harmful or unethical. As a viewer of Fox News there have been many reports of violent demonstrations along with looting and fire damage to businesses. This Is no way to speak out against what we may find objectionable. As a senior I often wonder what have they been taught at home, as well as by those who have an ax to grind? And of course, we cannot forget the colleges and universities that hire professors that often reflect their own politics as well as a dislike for the United States. As adults, teachers and professors, as well as the rest of us, we must set a positive example for the young to follow, not upheaval or violent acts to have our way or to have our opinion reach others. Are we so jealous of a billionaire business man who became President that we refuse to listen to him, his ideas, and how he wishes to improve the greatest nation God ever gave to humans, the United States of America?May God help all of us come together to ensure this country for the children who will be inheriting our good examples, or bad ethics, when they reach adulthood.God, the world and the children is watching. Will they copy our examples?
